A problem of the optimal system synthesis is considered for suppressing the forced vibrations of the gyroscopic system in case when the disturbance amplitude exceeds the amplitude of compensating action from an actuator of the active vibration protection, i.e., on assumption that the control intensity is such that the full compensation of the external action is impossible. The optimization is performed on the basis of the criterion of a minimum of the forced vibration amplitude with a given frequency of the steady mode.
