Proportional and Integral Control in Phase Locked Loop Frequency Synthesizers

An approach to get proportional and integral control in phase locked loop frequency synthesizers is described. A technique of parametric synthesis of PLL system with two charge pumps by using a concept of oscillation factors is given. Changing charge pumps currents during the transient process is shown to essentially improve this process and shorten its duration.
