A problem to check atmosphere for availability of the detrimental gas agent - unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine is discussed. The comparative analysis of laser monitoring schemes based on the method of differential absorption is performed. Given the application of measuring scheme with the diffusion reflector, the lidar is shown to detect under average atmospheric conditions the minimal concentrations of unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (tenth fractions of "PDK") within the range of some kilometers.
