Problems to select informative signs and to decrease their dimensionality in case of absence of a priori data on mathematical expectation of parameters of random signals are considered. Methods to solve these problems using coefficients of the multiple initial regression are offered. Using the practical example, these methods are compared to the method of discriminant analysis and method of main components.
