The problems of designing the polyrod dielectric radiators of phase arrays, the key physical principles and operation advantages of this very radiator kind, examples of the device realisation, are considered. Combination of such radiator with the ferrite phase shifter allows to build the integrated elements of phase arrays providing satisfactory matching over the free space within a wide band of frequencies and a wide scanning angle.
