Algorithm for Compensating Interchannel Interferences in Reception of OFDM Signals with Fading Channels

An algorithm is offered for estimating OFDM signal distortions connected with interchannel interference under conditionof reception with multipath fading channels; results of its simulation on the computer are given. The algorithm is based on the estimation of channel's frequency responseusing the multidimensional digital Kalman filter, the optimal (in the sense of a minimum of error's mean square) interpolation of the obtained estimate, and the rectification of the data to be transmitted using the QR decomposition of the channel's transmission matrix. The offered algorithm allows the system's working characteristics to be considerably improved in comparison with those of the methods based on the piecewise linear interpolation of the frequency response at comparablecomputational costs.
