Estimation of Error of Numerical Results of Solving Maxwell Equations by Finite-Difference Method in the Time Domain

An error of the finite-difference method in the time domain is estimated in solving a problem of diffraction in the uniform medium and a problem ofelectromagnetic wave passage through the two- medium interface. The error estimation is conducted by comparison of problems solution results, obtained by both a classical and numerical method.
