Qualitative characteristics of Detector of Valid Signal Being Read Through Noise and Interfering Reflected Signals

A problem of resolving signals with substantially different power levels is considered and an algorithm of optimal processing by criterion of maximal signal-to-(interference + noise) ratio is offered on condition of normalizing the filter weight function on the noise basis. Properties of the optimal algorithm are analyzed for the case of the single interfering signal.
