Spectral Analysis of Digital Adder

Possibilities of using a digital adder for the spectral analysis of harmonic oscillations and the demodulation of phase-modulated signals are considered. The frequency response shape and bandwidth are determined for the digital adder. A method of suppression of side lobes of the frequency response is given. A simple algorithm of estimating parameters of a periodic signal is offered.
