Characteristics of systems of preliminary synchronization (searching by time) of noise-like signals are considered. Main efficiency factors of such type systems are as follows: probability of successful search completion, mean time elapsed till its ending and also some other characteristics, including those which combine the above parameters. Transfer functions of the search systems are considered. Based on the apparatus of Markovian chains, as well as on theory of directed graphs and generating functions, the detailed analysis of efficiency of selected systems for the noise-like signal search is fulfilled.
