Calculation of Optical Mixer with Wedge-shaped Gap with Violated Total Reflection

The 2D-problem on propagation of the polarized plane wave from one optically homogeneous semi-infinite medium to another identical medium separated from the first one by the narrow air wedge providing the condition of the violated total reflection on the output flat side of the first medium. The input side of the second medium is flat. Vector components of both electric and magnetic intensities are found. The obtained result allows the calculation of air wedge parameters providing the required view of the interference picture at output of the optical mixer of the laser gyroscope.
