Modelling of superconducting disk levitation in quasi-homogeneous magnetic axis-symmetric field

The calculation of screening currents in the superconducting disk and its magnetic moment value distribution under random over-magnetization cycles in axis-symmetric magnetic field, is carried out. The analytic expressions are proposed for estimation of magnetization and levitation force acting on superconductor, loading characteristic of the magnetic thrust bearing on the basis of high temperature superconductor is calculated.
