The calculation procedure for the features of passive magnetic suspension of essentially new class on the basis of short-circuited superconducting contours, is proposed. It is shown that the values of rigidity and loading ability per unit of sufacc area in such systems can significantly exceed analogous features of the up-to-date active magnetic suspensions.
