The phenomenological approach to the development of a design method is considered for cryogenic contactless supports constructed with the use of high temperature superconductors (HTSC supports) on the basis of Mendelson’s model of the rigid superconductor structure of type II. Main design characteristics of the HTSC supports conforming with the experimental data are defined.
