Problems of minimizing rotor potential in cylindrical electrostatic suspension are considered. Induced potential is analyzed for the direct current suspension and pulse suspensions with adjusting electrode potential according to the wide-pulse modulation law. Recommendations are given on selection of laws to control the electrode potentials which provide the least induced potential not only with the rotor central position but also with its displacements from the suspension center.
