A notion of a signal space is introduced in a form of the smooth variety, which is similar, in a local way, to n-dimensional space from the topological point of view. It consists of parametric vector data fields ("points") and represents one of the key provisions of the structural theory of optical- and laser- and electronic systems. A principle of systematization ability is introduced on the set of operations which are used to describe the signal conversion in optical- and laser- and electronic systems. Based on it, the following conceptual and symbolical models of operations are developed: "signal conversion, symmetry conversion and functional conformity".
