It is proposed to estimate the operation efficiency of the teleorientation system by an amount of information defined by a number of resolvable spatial positions of the object under control within the information field which are isolated by the system per unit time. Based on the obtained model of the teleorientation system, the influence of energy factors on the throughput of the control channel is investigated. The modified algorithm of beam scanning along the line with two measurements of the object position is proposed.
