The relations characterizing signals that arrive at input of a resolver of the scanning optical system with the single-element receiver of infrared radiation are considered in order to select objects by amplitudes of signals and their time characteristics. It is shown that consideration for time characteristics of signals leads to additional advantages in selection of objects.
