Structural-parametrical model of the studied system is defined; here one of basic tasks of system analysis and planning of the logistic production system (LPS) is solved as a selection of the most essential elements for further modernization. The formalized set-theoretic models of the LPS defining its basic elements and relations between them have been proposed. From the position of system analysis the followings aspects are considered: conceptual model of main-oriented LPS, parameters of the resource providing of the production system, accordance between the micro- and macrologistic systems, decomposition LPS from position of computer-integrated logistic process. Using the proposed models for the system decomposition of structure LPS and for assessment of its resource characteristics will ensure effective support of management activities at rational decision making on modernization of production.
