Techniques of Handling SQL Queries in Oracle DBMS

A technological procedure of handling user queries in Oracle DBMS is considered. The SQL queries are classified by types, and steps and phases of the SQL queries handling are segregated. Operational principles of the Oracle DBMS optimizing tool are considered and recommendations are suggested to the user on the composition of queries to be performed by the DBMS for the minimal time. Parameters of the Oracle DBMS are given enabling to adjust it to the required mode of the optimizing tool operation.
