Basic approaches to using tools of imitation modeling are considered as well as a problem of their application for operating systems like MCBC and Linux. The library of C++ functions is suggested to be used for imitation modeling of queuing systems especially in the MCBC and Linux operating systems. A brief description of this inter-platform library is given and peculiarities of using a method to decrease the dispersion in the library are discussed. An example of imitation modeling of the classic queuing system of M/M/n type is presented.
