Method of Non-parametric Classification in Recognition of Images

Some methods of non-parametric classification in problems of recognition of images are discussed. Two known methods - k-NN (k nearing neighbors) and Parzen's Window - are briefly described. Both methods are extended for applications with fuzzy teaching set. A new hybrid method combining advantages of methods of k-NN and Parzen's Window is offered.
