Simulation of Scenarios of Network Attacks Based on Stochastic Context-insensitive Grammars

Formal approaches to the description of network attacks on the basis of formal grammars are considered. At present efforts to provide data security are mainly aimed at the development of protection mechanisms. Much less attention is paid to the study of theoretical aspects of attack implementation including their representation and simulation. Data protection systems under development are to be experimentally checked. For this purpose the formal model of network attacks is proposed.
