Using Cepstral Analysis in Problems of Monitoring of Fiber-Optic Communication Lines

Results are presented of experimental studies to detect equipment for unsanctioned access to fiberoptic communication lines, which is located within the dead space of the optical reflectometer. A method to determine a delay of the reflected probing signal on the basis of cepstral analyzing is considered which allows a considerable decrease of a size of the dead space of the optical reflectometer.
