Technology of Extraction of Polygonal Objects from Bitmap Image

A problem of extraction of polygonal objects from bitmap image is considered. The analysis of methods of polygonal description is performed, based on which requirements are stated and stages of the object extraction are determined. Algorithms of extraction of angular points as components of polygonal objects are developed. Experimental results are given.
