A scheme is considered of the three-component redundant accelerometer based on four single-component differential vibrating-string sensors with certain orientation of measuring axes. When compared to the traditional redundant scheme based on six sensors with orthogonal measuring axes, this scheme allows for the considerable decrease in the device overall dimensions, mass and cost and provides the analytical adjustment of the measuring axes directions with reference to set-up bases.
